You Can't Test Drive - Now What?
Online auctions don't let you inspect a car in person before delivery. Instead, you rely on two things: detailed photos and the multi-point inspection report.
Photos Tell a Story
Look past the shiny exterior shots. Check for uneven panel gaps, mismatched paint, and wear on the driver's seat. Zoom in on wheels and tires. A listing with few or low-quality photos is a red flag.
The Report Is the Contract
Read the inspection report line by line. It should note mileage, tire tread, brake wear, any cosmetic damage, and mechanical condition. The more specific, the better.
Your Safety Net
The 10-day post-delivery inspection period means you're never truly buying blind. You get time to verify everything with your own mechanic after the car arrives.
